About

We are a Sydney giving circle that funds specialist, local charities to dream big and transform the lives of people in need in our city.

Each year, 100 individuals, families and businesses make a donation of at least $1,000 each, creating a major grant of $100,000 (or more!). Together we choose which not-for-profit will receive our annual grant and put it to work to make an extraordinary impact on the lives of Sydneysiders experiencing disadvantage.

At Impact100Sydney we believe we can do more together than we can alone - by coming together, we amplify the impact of our giving and engage more deeply in the issues facing our community. We have granted over $600,000 since we started in 2017 to local small non-profits where this investment delivers great impact!

Program donations fund:

In 2022 we have selected Plate it Forward, the Reconnect Project, Liverpool Neighbourhood Connections and Community Support Services to pitch for our $100,000 grant. Each of these organisations would be a worthy recipient. It is with this in mind that we are keen to ensure that while only one organisation can receive our $100,000 grant, each of the three runners-up are also funded with $10,000 to support their great work with vulnerable communities in Sydney.
