Program donations fund:
Thrive for Boys is an innovative young boys program that focuses on the importance of health and wellbeing for boys as they navigate the challenges of life. We have found it very difficult to secure funding for males in our community and hope with the help of your donation we will be able to continue to offer this program. The boys work in a supported and fun environment to learn about a range of social and educational issues, with a focus on developing and maintaining healthy and respectful relationships. The program deals with the importance of self-respect, respect for women and respect for parents and others. Basketball and other team activities are used to increase the boys physical and mental health and to learn the importance of supporting and working with others. The boys meet each week with their mentor.
