About

We are a grassroots, community organisation that exists to provide quality services for women and children who have experienced domestic violence, enabling them to be safe, hopeful, and empowered to rebuild their lives. Through Mary’s House refuge, the Daisy Centre, and other services, we offer professional support to women, while they navigate options before, during and after leaving an abusive relationship.

We are staffed by experienced domestic violence professionals who work alongside women and we achieve our purpose through: 

• Mary’s House - providing accommodation for women and children escaping domestic violence and abuse.
• The Daisy Centre - a specialised, integrated support service that provides professional and individually tailored case management for women who have and are experiencing domestic abuse. 
• Lydia House – a transitional home for families exiting Mary’s House.

We reduce the risk of harm through early intervention and by offering continuous support no matter where our families are in their journey to safety.

Program donations fund:

The project supports us to deliver groups from the Daisy Centre to women impacted by domestic violence. We reduce the risk of harm through early intervention and by offering continuous support no matter where our families are in their journey to safety.
Demand for our service continues to increase. Through our referral numbers, we know that we are meeting a community need. Our vision for the Daisy Centre is to be able to provide more support to women impacted by domestic abuse to mitigate the impact of trauma experienced by not only the women, but by their children too.

We are seeking to raise $10,000 to support Mary’s House Services to deliver psych-education groups, therapeutic groups, art therapy, financial abuse support, trauma-informed exercise groups and free child-care.
