The objectives are to provide trauma informed specialist counselling services to women survivors of domestic violence, women living with or escaping violence, to expand the services to women free of charge in the Bayside Council area, to positively impact the mental health of women living with or escaping violence, to raise awareness, provide psycho-social information and education around domestic abuse and harmful relationship dynamics, to empower women to make choices that will support their health and well-being, to provide women with practical strategies for their stress management, to determine long-term support plans for women requiring ongoing support.
These funds will enable us to provide specialist domestic violence counselling to women experiencing or escaping intimate partner abuse.
