Bayside Women's Shelter is a crisis accommodation refuge in south east Sydney caring for women and their children who are escaping domestic and family violence and homelessness. We work to empower our women with dignity, guiding them through the initial traumas as victim survivors, connecting them with necessary community services with the ultimate goal to enable their recovery and independent safe lives.

Program donations fund:

For our women, often they have no capacity to set up their first safe home once they are ready to leave Bayside women's Shelter. Our project will assist 3 or 4 families to move into their first safe home after their stay in Bayside Womens Shelter. It will provide them with the basic home set up and access to removalists to complete this in a safe and successful manner. Working to build self confidence and to do it with dignity, we work with them to furnish their first home. This takes resources like removalists, like white goods suppliers, bedding, lounges, the necessities to set them up for success. We are seeking funds to assist with the identification, purchase and delivery of necessary household items for our women.
