As a successful, community based organisation, SECC offers an ‘all stage of life’ service approach and aims to improve the quality of life for all people through social inclusion and elimination of all forms of discrimination.

SECC services include Before and After School Care and Vacation Care (as an approved OOSH provider), family support, advice, information, advocacy and referral, case work, social support, community and individual transport, respite care, food services, a Dementia Day Centre, playgroups, outreach services in collaboration with community legal and public housing services, and a range of classes and programs to assist the community to stay connected, be active and develop new skills.

SECC works within a community development framework and upholds the principles of social justice, access, equality, equity, respecting diversity, participation and human rights for all people.

Program donations fund:

Operating out of South Eastern Community Connect's Hub in Mascot is The People's Pantry. The People's Pantry is not just a food relief program. We provide assistance and advocacy relating to the struggles that come with being unable to provide food for yourself and your loved ones.

In addition to accessing food relief, it's also an opportunity to connect with South Eastern Community Connect (SECC) Case Workers and gain support. With the cost of living rising higher and higher, we know families are really feeling the pinch.

And sadly, in many cases, are struggling to make ends meet. In times of great crisis, the power of community always rises to the challenge.

The funds raised through this Be Kind Sydney Campaign will assist with much-needed donations to The People's Pantry as well as support advocacy programs operated by South Eastern Community Connect. These programs are delivered at the Mascot Hub and in our Outreach programs in South Eastern Sydney Social Housing communities.

Donations to SECC have a far-reaching impact and we’d love to share with you the positive effect your contribution can make to the community and families of south-east Sydney.

Can you help? After all, many hands make light work.
